We created a landscape that feels refined, contemporary, and deeply connected to the Wood River Valley of Idaho. Clean architectural lines, structured stonework, and intentional grading create a strong modern framework, while the plantings soften the geometry with movement, texture, and seasonal variation. The design balances openness and enclosure, using pathways, boulders, and sculpted beds to guide the eye and create a sense of flow through the outdoor spaces.
Across the images, the plant palette leans toward hardy, mountain‑appropriate species that thrive in Idaho’s high‑altitude climate. Grasses, evergreens, and resilient perennials are arranged in layered compositions that echo the natural rhythms of the surrounding valley. The result is a landscape that feels both polished and grounded—an elegant extension of the region’s rugged beauty.
