Annuals are a wonderful addition to any garden or planter. Although they only last for one season they are so worth planting. Almost all annuals continue to bloom for the entire spring, summer and fall, many can tolerate early and late frost and they are an inexpensive way to add a spot of color once your perennials have faded. Pansies and violas are always the first to be planted in the spring. Don’t let their delicate happy faces fool you, they are very hardy and often reseed themselves the following year. As the summer arrives the choices of annuals becomes almost endless. Whether you are looking for bright zinnias to put in a sunny spot or impatiens for a shady border you will find it at the Sun Valley Garden Center.
